(October 23, 2024) Photo/Plant Update -- The tree did not grow at all during the summer/ early fall. It dropped all its leaves and appears to be dying from the top down. Earlier in the season there was an earwig infestation that may have stunted the growth or perhaps the tree does not like the location/soil conditions. In any case the tree doing quite poorly.

(June 19, 2024) Photo/Plant Update -- Tree was planted out on 6/14/24.
It was initially multi-trunked which was stunting growth so the less vigorous of the two was removed.
Tree is currently around 15 inches tall with very little branching. It has hardly grown since it was received in March '24.
