All updates:
(April 5, 2025) Spring 2025 update -- The tree survived winter with some damage to its leader. It appears several leaves are damaged but that the tip may still be alive. Will know if a few weeks if new leaves emerge. Applied some fruit tree granules late March.

(February 12, 2025) Wintering photo -- Tree seems healthy and happy so far in the ground. Has grown a few leaves and 2-3” taller since being planted in the fall. Tucked in under two layers of burlap with bamboo supports for the current cold spell.

(October 29, 2024) Planted in a mound -- Tree was planted last week in a citrus mix mound. The native aoio below the mound was also replaced about 1.5 feet deep since it was hard clay apio with gravel and rocks. About 4 cubic feet of citrus mix was used around the roots, with generic garden shop topsoil to help complete the mounding.
