Ortet is in CA, believed to be seed-grown, but with excellent fruit. The leaves flush a beautiful red color and smell very sweetly of anise.

(April 24, 2024) Update -- The greenhouse graft is already almost finished flowering, and starting to push out a new vegetative flush. It seems like it's holding on to a much larger percentage of flowers than the other cultivars. Not sure if that means unusually high pollination rate, or just delayed blossom drop.
